ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

 

Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Education of the Big Walnut Local School District of Delaware County, Ohio, at the Administrative Office, 70 North Walnut St., Galena, Ohio 43021 until 12:00 pm o'clock, eastern standard time on May 7, 2012, and at that time bids will be opened by Assistant Superintendent, Gary Barber, for all labor and material necessary for Roof Water Improvements and Site Water Improvements for the Big Walnut High School building, situated at 555 South Old 3C Highway, Sunbury, Ohio 43074, according to drawings and specifications prepared by OHM, 600 Creekside Plaza, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, architect for said Board.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:30 am local time on April 24, 2012 at Big Walnut High School, 555 South Old 3C Highway, Sunbury, Ohio 43074.

 

Instructions to bidders, drawings and specifications for this work are on file at the office of the architect and at the Administrative Office of the Board. Contract Documents may be examined without charge at the Administrative Office and OHM office. Bid documents may also be purchased from Key Blueprint, 6180 Cleveland Ave., Columbus OH 43231, 614-899-6180, for a refundable deposit of $30 /set (Shipping Costs by Contractor). Make checks payable to Big Walnut Local School District.

 

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates do not apply to this project.

 

No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
